Kurt Smith, CCTA

Kurt Smith is a Director of Marengo Capital, a corporate advisory company specialising in treasury, financial markets, corporate finance and private equity. Marengo Capital has a track record of, and passion for, creating and managing for long term enterprise value by aligning corporate strategy, finance and risk.

Kurt is also the Vice President and Technical Director of the Australian Corporate Treasury Association, a member of the Australian Payments Network Stakeholder Advisory Council, and a member of FX Markets Asia Advisory Board. His career includes senior positions across fund management, bank derivative trading, Fintech, private equity and corporate treasury. He has a Ph.D in Finance, and an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge.

Michael Larkin, CCTA

Michael joined the ACTA board in October 2022 as a non-executive director and has been a member of the ACTA for over 20 years.

Michael is a purpose driven senior executive with a collaborative leadership style, a track record of delivering results and demonstrated success leading high performing teams and driving transformational change.  He has over 30 years international experience across real estate, infrastructure, transport, construction materials and investment banking.

Michael has a Bachelor of Economics and an MBA.

Cecilia Ho, CCTA

Cecilia is currently Treasurer Capital Markets of Qantas Airways Limited and, as such, is responsible for funding and long-term liquidity for Qantas Group. This includes the development and management of funding strategies for the Group including setting appropriate optimal capital structure targets in line with Qantas’ Financial Framework. Prior to this role, she was Treasurer Risk Management.

Cecilia is also a Trustee Director on the Board of Qantas Superannuation Limited, she is currently chair of the Member Experience Committee and member of the Investment Committee.

Cecilia holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, and Master of Business Administration.

Hope has over 24 years’ experience in Commonwealth Bank’s Global Markets division and has held specialist and leadership roles across the business, servicing the Bank’s retail, middle market and institutional clients. Currently Managing Director, Client Risk Solutions, Global Markets, Institutional Banking & Markets and leads the team responsible for delivering FX and Rates risk management solutions to the bank’s clients globally.

Hope has a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology Sydney and has completed the FINSIA Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. She is a Certified Australian Corporate Treasury Association Professional and Chair of the Commbank Staff Foundation Advisory Committee.
