About the Position
Joining a high performing finance function and a close-knit team, this role will work alongside the Treasury Manager in ensuring the execution of treasury, valuation, and funding activities across the group. The role will assist with internal and external valuations of investment properties, treasury modelling, new funding requirements and renewal of existing facilities.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of funding strategies for projects and investments.
- Support the formulation and execution of the Group’s hedging strategy.
- Ensure adherence to financial and governance standards within Treasury activities.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly treasury reports and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, planning, and forecasting for the Treasury function.
- Liaise with lenders, providing clear summaries and analysis of key findings.
- Coordinate the monitoring, maintenance, and forecasting of loan covenants, ensuring compliance with facility agreements.
- Collaborate with the Finance & Transformation team to ensure key facility documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and analyse ongoing banking and compliance reporting requirements for lenders.
- Support the Treasury Manager in lender communications and financial modelling related to new and renewed facilities.
- Assist with funding activities, including refinancing of investment properties, investment structuring, and overall debt management.
- Prepare and support monthly drawdowns and the associated funding documentation.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Group’s and projects’ investment structures.
- Coordinate and review external property valuations for mortgage and financial reporting purposes.
- Prepare and maintain internal valuation models to facilitate regular internal assessments of investment property values for reporting.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and commercial awareness across the business.
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation in commercial processes and systems.
About You
For success in this role, you will be a technically strong CA / CPA qualified professional with a proven analytical track record. You will have experience of building and maintaining financial models, will possess strong Excel skills and will be comfortable engaging with key internal and external stakeholders. The right individual will have exposure to a treasury function (either from a consulting or corporate perspective) and will be ambitious with an ambition to grow professionally. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines within a high performing environment.
